the good kinda hurt

i actually took two days off. which is twice as much as i have taken off in a LONG time. they werent COMPLETELY days off- spent an hour playing tag/dodgeball with my class friday and thursday i went for a short run. but they were off from the gym and off from triathlon craziness. but i think sleep and body rest was just as beneficial as working out. for me, at this point in my training. i hadnt been in for my weekly ass kicking in a while due to craziness at work/school and tri training. tpain was more than generous with his time though and offered to meet me at the gym this afternoon. hes the best! anyway it was a great workout and i can already feel the soreness kicking in.

i am starting to get sad about triathlon class ending. at first i was super excited. then i realized it kinda sucked. then i started going twice a day again and loving it. i didnt think i would be sad when it was over but i am. i like the commitment, i like the comraderie, i like the trainer. its so easy to say todays not a good day (for the gym) when youre not committed to be there so i hope my commitment will continue.

i hope the asskickings become more frequent because they really make triathlon training a BREEZE.
