slacker

okay so i have thought about this website many times over the past few months.  yes months.  yikes.  and im happy to report that my slacking has been limited to my blogging and not to  my training.  you might even say ive been so busy training that there hasnt been any time to blog.  well im back  :)  and stay tuned later today for a special announcement!

ouch

hurt myself really bad during mile 3 of my run.  popped some pain management and kept going.  if it was a race i wouldnt have given up.  train how you race and race how you train!

long run

10.4 on the dreadmill.  wasnt as bad as i thought.  glad to get it out of the way today.  it was supposed to be “nice and slow” at a 12:45 pace but i just couldnt run that slow.  ran it at a mostly 12mm/11:45mm but ran some fast sprints for the last quarter of a mile every mile.  kept the incline between 1 and 2 to try and mimic outdoor running.  i actually felt pretty good afterwards so i did some lunges/squats/abs
